5. INSTALLING THE LAMP UNIT
5.1 Installing
What has to be done ?
a) the lamp has to be adjusted according to the mounting configuration of the projector
b) the lamp has to be placed in the projector housing and has to be connected
Do not touch the front lamp glass with your fingers since this can reduce the light output of the lamp !
If the glass is touched, finger prints can be removed by cleaning the lamp with alcohol.
Necessary tools
• flat screwdriver 5mm
• Phillips screwdriver 3mm
Adjusting the lamp
1. Place the metallic plate as shown on the figures depending on the mounting configuration. (image 5-1, image 5-2)
To place the lamp in the table position, slide the metallic plate as shown on the following figure (image 5-3)
2. Adjust the lamp by loosening the 2 screws (2 arrows on image) and placing the lamp according to the desired configuration ( see
screening on lamp). (image 5-4, image 5-5)
3. Tighten the 2 screws to secure the position.
