Aspect Ratio Description
Fit Forces format of all input signals into the native panel resolution.
16:9 Wide screen television format/Anamorf format.
4:3 Standard television format.
5:4 Workstations format.
2.35
Panavision or Cinemascope format, frequently used by Hollywood films.
1.88 Film format used by a lot of non-action films.
1.78 Wide screen television format/Anamorf format.
Letterbox Forces the letter format of the input signal into the native panel resolution.
6. Select the desired ASPECT RATIO (depending the image format of the input source) item by rotating the jog dial on the Master
or the up/down arrow keys on the Remote Control and press respectively the jog dial on the Master of key ENTER on the Remote
Control to confirm. (image 17-2)
7. Press the jog dial on the Master or the key ENTER on the Remote Control to confirm.
Image of the input signal is displayed in the selected format. If item FIT is selected, then the image format of the selected input
source is forced into the native panel resolution, with or without loss of image contents.
