5. Continue with filling in the other characters consecutively as follows:
- Pressing the cursor keys ↑ or ↓ on the Remote Control or rotating the selection wheel on the Master allows to select the
characters.
- Pressing the cursor keys ← or → on the Remote Control or pressing the selection wheel on the Master allows to change the
character ( Numeric characters can be entered remotely with the numeric keys).
6. At the end of the file name, a message box pops up, asking to confirm saving data. Press the key ENTER on the Remote Control
or press the selection wheel on the master to confirm. (menu 16-15)
The message box disappears and the new file name is stored WITH A NEW INDEX.

16.7 Delete a file
How to delete a file
1. Select the FILE SERVICE menu (see "Loading a File", page 97
2. Select item DELETE by rotating the selection wheel on the Master or the ↑ or ↓ keys on the Remote Control
The sub menu DELETE FILE (menu 16-16) appears on-screen and in the graphical display, including a list of all stored customer
files.
3. Select the file you desire to delete (Attention: the active file cannot be deleted) by rotating the selection wheel on the Master or
the ↑ or ↓ keys on the Remote Control.
4. Press the selection wheel on the Master or the key ENTER on the Remote Control to delete the file (Attention: there is no
confirmation request).
The file is removed from the file list.
