16.3 Editing a File
How to Edit a File
1. Select the FILE SERVICE menu (see "Loading a File", page 97)
2. Select item EDIT by rotating the selection wheel on the Master or the up/down arrow keys on the Remote Control.
The sub menu EDIT FILE (menu 16-7) appears on-screen and in the graphical display. This menu allows to choose between 2
lists, Active file and Select File.
Active File File associated to the selected input module. When selecting Active File, the editing
menu opens for that file (menu 16-8).
Select File When selected, a list of all files is displayed. The file you desire to edit must be selected
(menu 16-9). menu 16-7)
3. Attentively read the specifications of the connected source and next, proceed editing the different parameters.

How adjusting the parameters
1. For a parameter associated to a barscale, rotate the selection wheel on the Master or press the left/right arrow keys on the
Remote Control to increment or decrement the value. (image 16-1)
2. For a parameter associated to a value change, on the Master, rotate the selection wheel to increment or decrement the digit and
press the wheel to jump between digits and with the Remote Control, press the respective digit keys consecutively. (image 16-2)
3. For an item with the parameter between brackets, toggle with the selection wheel on the Master or with the ENTER key on the
Remote Control to change the parameter. (image 16-3)

16.4 File identification
How identifying the new selected source
When selecting the respective input slot with the new source, the horizontal period, the total number of vertical lines and the inter-
laced mode are automatically measured and filed in the menu table as a new custom file.
When editing a custom file, NEVER adjust the automatically measured values as they are used to identify the
input source file when selecting.
