The old PBS has to be removed and replaced by the new one.

Removing the
PBS
To remove the PBS, follow the next procedure :

Turn out both fixing screws.
Take out the PBS.
Take the new PBS and remove the protection foil on both
sides.
Insert the PBS so that the holes in the metal frame of the
PBS matches the notches (A, B) on the projector frame.
Secure this position by turning in both fixing screws.
