In
today’s
equipment-packed
operating theaters, surgical teams
are faced with a growing need for
imaging solutions that centralize all
critical information on one screen
and make it visible for everyone in
the room.
Barco’s HD series responds to this
demand by providing large-screen
High Defi nition fl at panel technology
for the surgical suite.
With
a
native
resolution
of
1920 x 1080 pixels, the versatile HD
series can visualize a wide range of
sources with ultimate detail. Typical
applications include endoscopic video,
radiology images, room and boom
camera video, surgery information
and patient records.
The HD series provides nurses,
surgeons and anesthesiologists with
smooth, artifact-free images that
allow for better, more informed
decisions.
• Perfect readability in bright
surgical environments
• Crisp image and video
representations
• HD endoscopy ready
• Fanless design for minimum risk of
contamination
• Non-refl ective protective front cover
• Frame lock technology for smooth,
artifact-free images
High Defi nition surgical imaging
With a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the widescreen (16:9) HD series presents
patient information, pathology images and endoscopic video with pinpoint precision
on a 42 (106.7 cm) or 47 inch (119.4 cm) High Defi nition screen. The HD resolution
LCD panel delivers bright and crisp pictures that do full justice to surgery images.
Fast response time
Thanks to its extremely fast response time, the HD series reproduces moving surgery
images with vivid accuracy.
Wide viewing angle
The wide viewing angle (176°) is very benefi cial in surgical environments where
detailed information needs to be visible by everyone in the room.
Smooth, artifact-free images
The advanced HD displays automatically lock to the input frequency of the connected
source in order to play in phase and in-frame sync with the input signal (50-60
Hz). Because no frame rate conversion is done, the motion is smooth and without
artifacts.
Confi gurable ambient light sensor
For optimal viewing comfort under varying light conditions, the ambient light sensor
can be confi gured to switch the backlights to a lower level when the ambient light has
dropped below a user-defi ned threshold.
Picture-In-Picture (PIP) & Picture-And-Picture (PAP)
Displaying two images - in any mix of data and video - next to each other or as Picture-
In-Picture provides the surgery staff with a dynamic presentation, while displaying
more information. Size and position of the Picture-In-Picture are easy to confi gure.
HD and DVI connectivity
Standard HD-SDI, DVI and RGB inputs
enable the HD series to visualize
images from the latest HD endoscopes
with exceptional quality.
Non-refl ective protective front cover
The HD series features a non-refl ective
protective front cover that makes the
display easy to clean and disinfect and
provides essential protection against
damage from intensive use in the OR.
Low noise, fanless design
A fanless design avoids the spread of
contaminants in the operating suite.
Moreover, it helps to keep noise level
below the limit of hearing for minimal
distraction.
VESA mounting structure for easy
installation
Integrated VESA mounting standards
allow for easy wall or ceiling installation
with any VESA-approved standard.
Mounting devices are optionally
available.
Remote control for central access
The user-friendly HD displays can
easily be integrated into surgical
environments with a central control
system. Using RS232 communication,
users can control the display remotely,
adjust display settings and switch video
input from anywhere in the operating
room.
