5. Menu Orientation
Using the Menu System

This section lists the rules and conventions for using FSN Series menus. For orientation
purposes only, the figure below illustrates the various menu sections.

Following are descriptions of each section and each type of button:
1)
Title Bar
At the top of each menu, the
Title Bar
always names the current menu. When
sub-menus are displayed, the convention of “
Parent Menu > Sub Menu
” will be
used, e.g.,
Keyer Menu > Advanced
.
2) Prompt
Bar
Immediately below the
Title Bar
, the
Prompt Bar
provides a line of “help text” for
each menu. The prompt changes according to the various functions selected on
the menu.
