5.2.2 Burning coal or briquetted smokeless fuels *)
Load the appliance with approx. 2 kg of coal or smokeless fuel briquettes, together with
a suitable fi restarter (e.g. wood kindlings) and light it with a small fi re starter block and
close the door. Keep the airslider throughout the whole burning process in the far right
position. The appliance can be reloaded with coal or smokeless fuel briquettes after
approx. 1 hour.
5.3 INSTRUCTIONS WHILE STOKING
5.3.1 Burning wood logs
Using the air supply slider you can adjust the air supply for further combustion.
Make sure the appliance burns quietly.
Note: Once you have got the appliance going, leave the air supply slider in the centre
position for optimal combustion. Your appliance will then be much cleaner and more
effi cient (more heat, less topping up).

To burn coal or briquetted smokeless fuels the appliance must be equipped with a
multi-fuel kit.
