SET_BT_PIN (40h) 

Description 

Assign a new Bluetooth® pin for secured connection to the IDBlue™ device. 
 

 

 

Parameters 

Pin 
The Bluetooth® security PIN for connecting to the IDBlue™ device. The default PIN is “0000”. The PIN 
is usually a series of ASCII characters, of length up to 16 characters. 
 
Result 
1 if the PIN was successfully changed, 0 otherwise. 
 

 

 

GET_BT_PIN (41h) 

Description 

Retrieve the Bluetooth® PIN for the connected device. 
 

 

 

 

Parameters 

PIN code 
The  PIN  code  is  used  for  authenticating  a  connection  to  the  Bluetooth®  device.  This  request  will 
return the PIN code (usually an ASCII string) for completing a secure connection to the device.
