keys,

and

describe
function
key controls.
The tester
is
equipped
with
a
clear
LCD
display used to show measured
values,
mode indicators and unit indicators.
Thank you for selecting the PHscan20 pocket pH tester.
This manual
provides
a step-by-step guide to help you operate the meter,
please carefully read the
following instructions before use.
Display

Power the tester ON/OFF.

Freezes the
measured
values
on the
display,
press the
key again to resume measuring.

In calibration mode, exits calibration and returns to
measurement mode.

Press the key to enter calibration mode.

Press and hold the key to enter the system menu.

In setup mode, press the key to
select
default
options.

Confirms the calibration or displayed option.

Inserting the Batteries
Before
using
the
tester,
insert
batteries
into
the
battery
compartment,
follow
the procedure outlined below.

Insert two “AAA” batteries into the battery compartment, note polarity.

Installation
is
completed.
—
Remove the electrode protective cap from tester.
—
If
the
electrode
bulb
dries
out,
soak
the
electrode
in
storage
solution
or
tap
water
for
at
least
15
minutes.
Do
not
use
,
Twist
the
electrode
collar
counter
clockwise,
pull
the
electrode
module
away
from
the tester.
Align the slot on the electrode module, push the module into the tester.
Twist the electrode collar clockwise until it
is
tight.
Prior to Use
module
distilled or deionized water
it will shorten the life of sensor.
