2) IMPORTANT NOTICE
a) Read all the instructions
b) Do not leave children near the pressure cooker while cooking. Pressure cooker can use only
persons above 18 years old.
c) Pots of the line DS 2260, DS 2240, DS 2250, DS 2270 are for home use only.
d) Do not put the pressure cooker in hot oven.
e) When manipulating with pressure cooker under pressure with high caution.
f) Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handles and the knob. If necessary use protection.
g) Do not use the pressure cooker for other purposes then it is intended to.
h) This pot cooks under pressure. Incorrect use of this pressure cooker may be dangerous. Make sure that the pressure cooker before
cooking is correctly sealed, as written in the „Instructions for use“
i) Do not open the pressure cooker by force. Do not open the pressure cooker, unless you are sure that the inside pressure has dropped,
as in „Manipulation“.
j) Never use the pressure cooker without water. This could cause serious damage.
k) Do not fill the pressure cooker to more then 2/3 of its volume. When cooking such items which expand on its volume (as rice, dehyd-
rated vegetables etc.) do not fill the pressure cooker more then to its half capacity.
l) Use appropriate sources of heating according to the instructions.
m) When cooking meat with skin, which can increase its volume, do not pierce the meat, you could get burned.
n) Some types of food, e.g. pasta, peas etc. can pop and block the hot steam valve.
O) When cooking pasta gently shake the pressure cooker before opening. By this you avoid ejection of the food.
p) Before every use make sure that the hot steam valve is not blocked. As in „instruction“
q) Never use the pressure cooker for deep frying under pressure.
r) Never put over the hot steam valve any heavy objects.
s) Never interfere with any safety systems which are not mentioned in the instructions.
t) Use only spare parts from the manufacturer for the corresponding model, which is marked as compatible.
u) Regularly clean the silicon sealing.
v) If the pressure cooker shows any marks of damage, do not use it and immediately take it to the sales place you have bought the
item.
w) Always make sure that the working valve, safety valve, sealing, dirt cover, lid and the pressure cooker itself was clean, without any
grease stains.
x) When closing the lid always check if the lid is closed correctly.
y) If steam is leaking out of the pressure cooker make sure that you immediately take it from the source of heat and after cooling you
examine each part of the pressure cooker carefully. Warning: when is pressure pot heated, the steam will escape thought the closure
hole indicator.
When opening, be sure, that the closure hole indicator has dropped down.
