Format/Standard Parameters branch and check the Header, Separators,

and Terminator values

Check the Code Field Length and Fill Character values.

Are the COM port parameters correctly assigned?

Where is the serial number located?

The device’s serial number is on a label on the body of the reader. Serial numbers

consist of 9 characters: one letter, 2 numbers, and another letter followed by 5

numbers.
