Motivation: Customers has a full home BeoLink setup, with BLCs
(with speakers in powerlink) at secondary rooms. Would like to use
BeoSound Essence as local music source to link rooms
–
Solution: Connect BeoSound Essence to the Line-in of the BLC
–
Equipment/Cables needed:
– 1 x RJ45 Power Link to 2 x Phono (male) – 6271216
–
Advantages: All the use-cases of BeoSound Essence are supported
–
Disadvantages:
– BS Essence Remote cannot be used for controlling link
sources
– Beo4 cannot be used for controlling BeoSound Essence
– Stand-by of BS Essence cannot happen via Beo4 or via system
“all stand-by”

Considerations/Notes:
– Enable “line sensing” on the BLC (instructions…)
