Use with a switchboard
The dialling code is normally automatically
added to incoming Caller ID calls with a
switchboard. However, some switchboards
may not add the code automatically. You
can therefore set BeoCom 3 to add a
dialling code.
When you store external names and numbers
in the Phonebook, you must first remember to
enter the dialling code and then the phone
number.
Call transfer
Beocom 3 is preset to the most commonly
used type of transferring external calls. If
your telephone is connected to a
switchboard, you may need to change this
setting in order to use this function.
Reading the version number in
the phone display
If you need to give someone information
about the phone, perhaps because it is
being repaired, you can find this
information in the menu.
