USING THE PAUSE BUTTON
If, when dialing a number, it is necessary
to wait for a new dial tone before dial-
ing the 2nd part of the number, a pause
must be inserted.
The pause must be included when enter-
ing numbers in the Phone Book.
A new dial tone may be needed by tele-
phone services and numbers with an
extension.
