3.9.20.1 General information

This SATA RAID controller supports RAID level 0 and 1 and can be inserted in a PCI slot. The hard disks being

used are specified for 24-hour operation and also feature an extended temperature range.

Information:

The PCI SATA RAID controller cannot be used in place of a universal power supply (UPS). If the oper-

ating system is not shut down properly, then this will be detected as an error state (with RAID 1 sets)

at the next system startup and a complete rebuild is performed. If 160 GB of memory are used, this

generally takes approximately 160 minutes (configurable) to complete.
