3.3 Connection options

3.3.1 SDL4-DVI connection option

With the SDL4/DVI Converter, monitors and panels that are only equipped with a DVI interface can also be con-

nected to a B&R industrial PC with SDL4 even over long distances.

Various USB devices can be connected to the 3 available USB interfaces (e.g. keyboard, mouse).

Limitations

Service and diagnostic data is not transferred.

•

Data transfer is limited to the DVI specification (single link). If SDL panels are connected, they can only

be used as DVI display units.
