6.2 Shelf Mountin g and Suspension
Fo u r s u spension points (3/8" n u ts) are located on
the top of the heater. Drop rods m u st be 3/8"
diameter mild steel minim u m.
When handling or s u pporting the heater from belo w ,
ens u re that the w eight is taken at the s u pport points.
For typical s u spension, See Page 10, Figure 5 .
For typical shelf mo u nting on existing shelf, See
Page 11, Figure 6 .
The gas or electrical s u pply lines m u st not be u sed
to s u pport the heater.
Do not locate the gas or electrical s u pply lines
directly over the path of the fl u e prod u cts from the
heater.
The heater m u st be installed in a location that is
readily accessible for servicing.
The heater m u st be installed in accordance w ith
clearances to comb u stibles as indicated on the w all
tag and in this man u al.
6.3 Wall Mountin g
For typical s u spension, See Page 11, Figure 7 . Wall
mo u nted heaters blo w ing parallel to the w all can
only be installed w ith the service door a w ay from the
w all.
The w all mo u nting brackets m u st be attached to a
s u itable w all u sing all mo u nting holes. Scre w sizes
less than 3/8" may not be u sed. In order for the w all
mo u nting brackets to adeq u ately carry the w eight of
the heater, it m u st be installed according to best
b u ilding practices.
