Upon defining the modulation curve, it is possible to have an ap

proximate estimate of the thermal flow rate delivered at the interme

diate points be measuring the gas pressure in the combustion head.
• Connect a pressure gauge with scale appropriate to the pressure
test port (G) and measure the gas pressure.

From the diagram obtain the thermal flow rate delivered, depending
on the value of the pressure measured without the back pressure in
the furnace.
IMPORTANT
This method permits only an approximate estimate of the com
-
busted thermal flow rate delivered, for a precise measuring, refer
to gas meter.

• Burner TBML 510
•
Pressure measured on port G: Ptc= 64,9 mbar
•
Back pressure measured in the furnace: Pcc = 22,9 mbar
•
Head pressure value without the back pressure in the furnace: P
= 64,9-22,9 = 42 mbar
From the diagram, in correspondence of pressure P = 31 mbar, a com

The standard EN 676 prescribes that for burners with maximum output
above 120 kW the ignition must occur at a reduced power

Disconnect the flame sensor wire (in this case the burner turns on
and goes into lock-out after the safety time ts).

Perform 10 consecutive ignitions and following block.

Measure at the meter the amount of gas burned

Example
Pmax = 90 m³/h (about 900 kW with natural gas)
After 10 ignitions with the related lock out, the gas consumption read
on the meter must be:
