BALTIC LIFEJACKETS –

AUTOMATIC INFLATION MODEL
Inflates automatically within five seconds, upon immersion of the lifejacket. The automatic
lifejacket can also be activated manually by pulling on the activating cord at the lifejacket’s
bottom right hand side

MANUAL INFLATION MODEL

BEFORE USE
Follow the illustrated instructions on the label by the inflation mechanism

CHECK THE CO

Remove the cylinder retaining strap

and unscrew
the CO
2
cylinder (anticlockwise) and check that it is not pierced. Screw the unpierced CO
2
back
into place (clockwise) by hand. Pierced CO
2
cylinders are used and must be replaced.
Refit the
cylinder retaining strap over the cylinder.

If the green safety indicator clip is missing or damaged, the life-
jacket must be inspected and rearmed.

If the indicator is red, the
lifejacket must be inspected and rearmed. Carefully follow the instructions on the next page or
in our rearming kit.

CHECK THE ACTIVATING CORD

Check that the activating cord runs freely and is
accessible without opening the lifejacket.
DEFLATION
The cap on the mouth inflation tube is turned upside down and gently pressed down into the tube

. Squeeze out the air. Replace the cap on the mouth inflation tube, in the normal position, be
-
fore repacking. NOTE! Do not use any other object than the upside down cap to deflate the lifejacket.
REARMING
BEFORE REARMING
Please note that the following rearming instructions must be followed in order for the product
to function. If you are unsure whether the product is correctly assembled, please contact your
retailer or the manufacturer.
•
Only use a Baltic rearming kit.
•
Rearming must be carried out with dry hands, in dry surroundings and without tools.
•
Place the inflatable lifejacket, back downwards, on a flat surface.
•
Make sure that the inflatable lifejacket is emptied of all air and that the mouth inflation
tube’s cap is in the normal position.
•
Follow the instructions in this manual and those in the instruction sheet accompanying
the rearming kit.
•
The product is ready for use only when it has been rearmed according to the instructions.
•
Follow the following instructions carefully.
