Remove the main computer board and test the battery with your volt meter. If it is below 3.1
volts it needs to be replaced. A new battery should read 3.6 volts or higher. Note that batteries on Bally
S6000 boards require extreme heat to remove properly. We have our station set at 415 degrees for
proper removal. If you are using a less sophisticated "home use" device where you cannot control
temperature, we advise that instead of removing the current battery entirely, cut the leads, removing
the battery and leaving it's soldiered leads in place. Shorten the leads on your new battery and soldier
to the existing leads.
Now study the board and insure the following settings are in place, note this is assuming you are 25 cent
denomination and you are using a WBA bill validator. Contact us if you have something else.
