Introduction
RFID-based tool identification is an ever more important topic today when it comes to opti-
mizing production processes and reducing costs.
Easy Tool-ID represents a cost-effective and simple solution for covering the basic functions
of tool identification.
Principle of tool identification using RFID
All tool-relevant data is stored without contact on a data carrier embedded in the tool holder.
Automatic loading into the system memory means all of the data is always correct. Valuable
information can no longer be lost. On the contrary: electronic data transmission means the
data is always available.
