5.1 Preparing for installation
For assembly on a shaft with a smaller diameter,
you will need a suitable reducing sleeve
(accessory).
For mounting in the fixed holder, we recommend an
elongated hole recess (see Fig. 5-1). There are three
heights to choose from. With the aid of the cylindrical pin,
this recess serves to lock and prevent the device from
rotating.
We recommend a fit 20 g6 or f7 for the shaft.

5.2 Installation

Install the position indicator as follows:
1. Press the cylindrical pin into the selected hole.

2. Slide the BDG onto the shaft and insert the cylindrical
pin into the locking recess in the holder.

Tighten set screws (select tightening torque according
to shaft material used).
