STEPS 3 through 5 cover anchoring unit to wall which MUST be completed before use.
STEP 3: Determine installation location, then identify two *wall studs behind bookcase. Push bookcase
into place then slide each L-Bracket (F) over top of Bookcase and center in front of each *wall stud. Use
pencil to mark wall at top of each Bracket.
IMPORTANT: Orient Brackets as illustrated to ensure they are not visible after installation.

STEP 4: Pull Bookcase (I) away from wall, align L-Brackets (F) with marks on wall then anchor
L-Bracket directly into wall stud using Wall Screw (B) with Lock Washer (D) and Flat Washer (E).

*Optimal protection against a dangerous tip-over accident is provided when L-Brackets are directly
anchored into a Wall Stud. If this is not possible, use an Expansion Bolt (G) (See Page 6) which
provides optimal support when no Wall Stud is present (Open Drywall).
