MAINTENANCE
1. Keep water clean. CHECK LEVEL DAILY. Do not allow pump to run dry.
2. Periodically clean panel, basin and pump to prevent mineral deposits and contamination.
3. Remove Panel/Pump Assembly and empty basin during long periods of non-use.
4.
Protect from freezing.
Do not use fountain in area where temperature can
drop below 32 degrees. Permanent damage may result.
WARNING
1. Never place fountain on top of any electrical device.
2. DO NOT use product if pump, cord or panel is broken or compromised.
3. Do not cover fountain when in use. Do not leave unattended when children are present.
4. Completely remove panel and pump before placing hands in water.
5. Unplug pump from panel during any maintenance. Grasp plug. Do not pull on cord.
NOTE
1. Do not submerge LED/SOLAR Panel in water.
2. Keep fountain out of reach of children.
3. In freezing temperatures, remove water from basin, pump and supply tube.
Store entire fountain indoors, protected from freezing.
4. A white film (mineral scale) may form on panel. Wipe clean with damp cloth.
5. Do not permit pump to run dry.
6. Do not lift pump by cord.
7. Do not pump heated liquids.
8. Operate using fresh water only.
9. Keep pump fully submerged. Clicking sound indicates pump is not getting water.
TROUBLESHOOTING
1. Ensure pump is fully submerged and water level is correct.
2. If pump is running, but there is no water flow check that pump is fully submerged or
if the tube is kinked or pinched.
3. If pump is running, but there is no water flow, the pump is fully submerged, and the hose
is not kinked or pinched, unplug pump, disconnect supply tube and lift pump out of water.
Clean supply tube inside and out as well as clean away any debris from around outside
of pump and/or panel.
4. If pump is not running, be certain unit is fully charged by placing in full sun. Solar Panel
must be clean and clear. Wipe any residue away with a damp cloth.
SOLAR PANEL:
Keep panel clean and clear. To charge, panel must be in full, direct sunlight.
Pump operates off of sunlight when in direct sun and batteries (4 hours) when shaded or in
darkness. LEDs automatically ON in darkness/OFF in light.
PUMP:
Pump is equipped with an automatic shut-off function to protect from running dry. When
water level is too low pump will automatically cycle on/off 10 times before completely shutting off.
To RESET, lift off Solar Panel, unplug then replug pump into Solar Panel. Place unit into full,
direct sun to operate and/or recharge batteries.
Cleaning and Care
Periodically rinse with clean water. Towel dry.
Always turn off when not in use.
