color (C) after I apply minimum brightness (B) to all 
three Zones. Is this normal?

Yes.

Sometimes the Groups button disappears from the 

 Settings screen (D).  

Is this normal?

Yes. If only one of the three Zones is set to Normal 

in the Zone Settings screen (E), Groups are disabled 

and the Groups button disappears from the 

 Settings screen (D)
