BATTERY INSTALLATION
• Open the battery do or.
•
Ins ert new four (4) “AA” bat t eries in polarity ( +
) and ( - ) as indicated.
• Close the battery doo r.
GETTING STARTED
1. W hen power up, it initi ali zes at 2012 Jan 1, 00:00.
2. Slide to the
ON / OFF
switch to “
ON
”.
3. Press the
/ SET
button.
4. In a normal conditi on, the clock can c om plet e recei vi ng sign al and tim e a djus t m en t in 10 to 15 m inutes.
5. In case you fi nd the clock cannot set i tself, then press & hold
/ SET
button for manual set. (Please refer to
manual clock set instruc tion at the next page.)
As long as bat t eries are suppl ying power to the unit, it rec eiv es the time s ignal and adj ust tim e autom atic ally. No manual
a djus tm e nt is requi red after power up. Ac c urat e a djus tm e nt of the cl ock bas e d on the time s ig nal is s up p o rt e d in the
c ontinent al.
You are rec ommended to le ave the clock overnight for s earching time signal since ni ght tim e allows better transmission of tim e signal .
SIGNAL RECEIVE OPER ATION
The unit au tom atic all y re c ei ve the time s i gn al e ve r y d a y at midnight and make any requir ed adjus t m ent to the time setting.

Important : Do not perform any button or switch operation while a sign al rec ei ve operation is in progress .
TRIGGERING A RECEIVE OPER ATION M ANU ALLY
You c an trigg er a sig nal recei ve operati on at any tim e by pressing the
/ SET
button, which cause the unit to perform an immediate
signal recei ve operatio n.
UNSUCCESSFUL SIGNAL RECEPTION
If the aut om at ic updat e is uns ucc ess f ul, the wave on top of the ant enn a tower and the W AVE OK icon will be dis app eare d, and the
unit will
re-try to receive the signal again every hour.
If unsucc essful sign al rec eption after battery installation or after res et, the unit will keep trying until tim e signal reception success ful .

M ANU AL SET THE CLOCK
To manual the clock, you should press and hold the
/ SET
button for 2 seconds to enter
the se tti ng mode :
1st STEP: To Set the Time Zone & Daylight Sav ing Time ( DST )
1. Press and hold the
/ SET
button for 2 sec onds to enter the
Tim e Zone and DST setting mode.
2. Press + button to choose your desi red Time Zone.
3. Press - button to toggle between Daylight Saving Time ( DST )
ON or OFF m ode.
