The Application menu provides access to a number of Windows™ OS applications shown in

Figure

11.

Application

Description

PDF Viewer

Allows viewing of PDF documents on the DPI

620 Genii.

Internet Explorer (IE) allows access to the web browser if Internet connection is

available.

Word Viewer

Allows access to Microsoft Word format documents (e.g. *.doc, *.txt, *.rtf) which

can be viewed and edited.

Excel Viewer

Allows access to Microsoft Excel format (e.g. *.xls, *.csv) documents which can

be viewed and edited.

PPT Viewer

Allows viewing and editing of Microsoft Powerpoint format documents (e.g.

*.ppt).

Desktop

Gives access to Windows CE Desktop location where all of the above

applications can be accessed. Access to other Windows related applications

are made available from the Desktop application. To exit the Desktop and return

to the Genii application, double tap the Genii icon.
