Baja Shifter 90 Model SF90 (double-seat): Owner’s Manual                                         Version:1.0  April 2005

 9

Take Time to Learn & Practice

Even if you have driven other buggies, you still should take time to become familiar with how this BUGGY
works. Practice in a safe area until you have built your skills and gotten accustomed to the size and weight of
this Buggy.

Be Alert to Off-Road Hazards

The terrain can present a variety of challenges. Continually "read" the terrain for unexpected turns, drop-offs,
rocks, ruts and any other hazards. Always keep your speed low enough to allow time for seeing and reacting.

Drive within Your Limits

Pushing limits is another major cause of BUGGY accidents. Never drive beyond your personal abilities or
faster than conditions warrant. Remember that alcohol, drugs, fatigue and inattention can significantly
reduce your ability to make good judgments and to drive safely.

Don't Drink and Drive

Alcohol and drive never mix. Even one drink can reduce your ability of responding to changing conditions,
and every additional drink can lengthen and worsen your reaction time.
