The power steering system is an enclosed push-pull

cable that is hydraulically assisted (power steering)

at the stern drive end (fig. 3.7.1).

The cable and its connections to the steering wheel

and to the out drive MUsT be inspected at least

twice a year by your Baja

dealer.

The power steering pump fluid level MUST be

checked every time prior to using the boat. Refer

to the steering system information in your Owner’s

Packet.
