Battery (gas scooter)

Your scooter uses a sealed, maintenance-free lead acid

battery rated 12V3AH. The battery is located 

underneath the floorboard.

● 

Charging new batteries

: Fill the battery with 

the acid in the pre-packed bottles and allow to rest

for 30 minutes prior to sealing the battery. After 

sealing,  Charging rate: Charge battery @ 0.7 Amps for 

5 ~ 10 hours.

● 

Recharging batteries

: For best results, charge the battery at a 

low current (see above). You can fast-charge the battery at 2A for up to 1hr. 

You may wish to use a trickle charger (<.5A) to keep the battery charged if you 

use your scooter is not used frequently or for short trips. You can attach a 

trickle charger for up to a week.

 

 

WARNING! BATTERY ACID IS EXTREMELY CORROSIVE.  

 

 

ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES AND EYE PROTECTION WHEN  

 

 

HANDLING ACID. IF YOUR SKIN OR EYE CONTACTS THE  

 

 

ACID, IMMEDIATELY FLUSH WITH WATER FOR AT LEAST  

 

 

15 MINUTES. IF SWALLOWED, DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING;
