1. Verify that the main power on the PEP is in the off position.
Check the power indicator to see if power is removed.
□
2. Remove and label all cables from the CPU.
□
3. Remove the two screws that secure the front of the mount-
ing plate to the shelf (Fig.
PR27-2 ).
□
4. Remove the two screws that hold the rear of the mounting
plate to the support bracket.
□
5. Slide the CPU and mounting plate out of the rear of the
auxiliary terminal.
□
6. Remove the four screws that hold the CPU to the mounting
plate.
□
7. Install the four screws to secure the new CPU to the
mounting plate.
□
8. Slide the new CPU and mounting plate into the rear of the
auxiliary terminal.
□
9. Install the two screws that hold the rear of the mounting
plate to the support bracket.
□
10. Install the two screws that secure the front of the mounting
plate to the shelf.
