MACHINE ADJUSTMENTS
Replacing the saw blade: (Wear gloves when handling blade).
•
Remove the allen head screw which releases the pull rod (P).
This allows the pivoting guard (Q) to rotate back.
•
While gripping the blade, use a hex wrench and remove the nut
in a clockwise (cw) direction. (It has a left-handed thread).
•
Now remove the washer (R) and blade (S) from the spindle.
•
Clean out any debris that may have accumulated inside the
guard.
•
Install the new blade onto the spindle.
•
Place washer (R) and the nut on the spindle (note how nut
pilots into the washer.)
•
While holding blade, tighten nut counterclockwise (ccw).
•
Rotate pivot guard forward and re-attach the pull rod to the
guard.
•
Check depth of cut adjustment bolt for the new blade. (see
below)
WARNING:
Make sure the electrical disconnect is OFF before working on
the machine.
Maintenance should be performed on a regular basis by qualified personnel.
Always follow proper safety precautions when working on or around any machinery.
