Anchoring the Machine

Once positioned, anchor the machine to the floor, as shown in the diagram, using bolts and
expansion plugs or sunken tie rods that connect through holes in the base of the stand.

Provide adequate clearance for the equipment in an environment that is clean, non-
flammable, non-corrosive, and dust free.
Tank Filling
The hydraulic oil is the primary medium for transmitting pressure and also must lubricate the
running parts of the pump.
After installation of the machine and before machine startup, bring the oil level up to 90% of
capacity. Verify that any cylinder rams are is in the retracted position to prevent overfilling of the
tank. Recheck the oil level after the first few hours of operation and again after the first full week
of operation.
A shortage of hydraulic oil can cause hydraulic system breakdown and damage to major
mechanical parts due to overheating
.
WARNING:
Before operating the press, make sure it is firmly anchored
the floor. If it tips over on you, it could cause severe injury or death.
