2.0 About this Manual
This manual is provided by Baileigh Industrial, covering the safe operation and maintenance procedures for the
AP-0, AP-1, AP-2, AP-3, and AP-5HD Arbor Presses. The arbor press is designed for riveting, swaging, bending,
punching, and flattening. The arbor press can be used to press on or remove close-fitting bearings and bushings.
It is suited for the production environment as well as machine shops, automobile repair shops, and home
workshops. The anvil has four slots that are available for a variety of pressing operations.
This manual contains instructions on safety precautions, set up, general operating procedures, maintenance
instructions and parts breakdown. Your machine has been designed and constructed to provide consistent, long-
term operation if used in accordance with the instructions as set forth in this document.
