{Stabilizing the Center Post}

With your adult helper, place the top section of the slide back onto the center post and position the
slide at the fort entrance. Place the post into the hole and level it. When level, hold the post in place as
you fill in the hole with dirt. Compact the soil firmly as you fill. (NOTE. The top of the post should lie 4-
1/2" 6-1/2" below the fort floor height. Any excess post must be cut away with
hacksaw. Measure The Post Correctly and do NOT cut it too short.
Top of Center Post
(after burying) should
be 4-1/2" to 6-1/2"
below Fort Floor.
