8.3 Install child car seat and secure child with 3 point safety belt
8.3.1 Pull the adjuster lever underneath the seat and adjust to upright position(po-
sition 1).(fig.15)
8.3.2 Place child in child car seat and adjust headrest to make shoulder belt a little
higher than child’s shoulders.
8.3.3 Pull 3 point safety belt, guide diagonal section through red belt guide on he-
adrest and lap section through lap belt guide and lap belt hook. Insert buckle till
clear “click” is heard. (fig.17)
Note: Vehicle belt must not have slack and twist during the whole process of
installation. Tigeten both diagonal and lap belt and retract excessive belt.
