IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE NiMH RECHARGEABLE
BATTERy CONTAINED WITHIN THE APPLIANCE.
Before using the trimmer for the first time, charge continuously for 16 hours. Maximum
battery capacity will only be reached after several charging / discharging cycles.
PRESERVING THE BATTERy:
In order to maintain the optimum capacity of rechargeable battery, the appliance
should be recharged for 16 hours every 3 months approximately.
NOTE:
Never pull on the cord of the outlet adaptor. Never twist or wrap the cord
around the charging base or the trimmer. When using the appliance with its cord, be
mindful of tangles or kinks in the cord. If the cord does become tangled during use,
turn the unit off and straighten cord before operating again.
Everyone knows that electricity and water are a dangerous combination.
But did you know that an electrical appliance is still electrically live
even if the switch is off? If the plug is in, the power is on.
So when you are not using the appliances, keep them unplugged.

REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF BUILT-IN RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
The rechargeable battery should be disposed at the end of the unit life. You should
remove the comb and blade assembly.
BATTERy REMOVAL
1. Use a small screwdriver, remove the 2 screws near to
the motor shaft and 1 screw near the base, pull away the
trimmer from housing away from the bottom housing.
2. Gently pull out the battery from housing. Bring the battery
to the nearest collection center for proper disposal. DO NOT
throw the battery into normal municipal waste system.
CONTAINS NICKEL METAL HyDRIDE BATTERy. MUST BE
COLLECTED, RECyCLED OR DISPOSED OF PROPERLy. DO NOT
DISPOSE OF IN MUNICIPAL WASTE.
