HOW TO USE YOUR DEEP WAVER
CAUTION! Do not place the appliance on any heat sensitive surface whilst
in operation. Use the heat mat provided to protect the work surface whilst
styling your hair.
• Press the ‘I/0’ button to switch the styler on.
•
Use the temperature ‘+/-’ buttons to select the preferred temperature. The
temperature increases in 10°C increments for specific temperature control
(170°C-210°C).
NOTE: Always start with a lower temperature and increase gradually if
required.
• The appliance will almost instantly heat up to the chosen heat setting.
WARNING! This appliance reaches up to 210°C, please take care to avoid the
hot surface of the barrel coming in to direct contact with the skin, in particular
the ears, eyes, face and neck.
• Divide dry hair into 4cm sections and comb through.
• Take a section of hair, starting around 3-4 inches from the scalp.
• Place the hair section between the top and bottom plates of the styler. The
top plate of the styler should face away from your head (the flat base plate
will protect your face).
• Clamp the handles together until they close and hold in place for 5-8 seconds.
• Release the handles, gently move the styler down the section and re-position
to overlap the last wave created, to ensure a continuous wave effect in the
hair.
• Continue down the entire hair section, towards the ends of the hair.
• Repeat as necessary.
• After use, press the ‘I/0’ button to turn the styler off and unplug.
• Allow the styler to cool completely before storing away. For extra protection,
wrap the styler in the salon heat wrap.
STYLING ADVICE
The waver comes with a salon heat wrap for use during and after styling. During
use do not place this appliance on any heat sensitive surface, even when
using the heat wrap provided. After use, switch off and unplug the appliance.
Immediately wrap the appliance in the heat wrap provided and allow the
appliance to fully cool down before storing away. Continue to keep out of the
reach of children as it will remain hot for several minutes.
IMPORTANT: The black satin material is not heat resistant and the appliance
should not be placed on this material whilst hot.
SALON HEAT WRAP
