Open the battery pack compartment by simply sliding the lid in the direction indicated by the arrow

Insert the 3 AA batteries required in the battery pack compartment in accordance with the polarity markings. Then close the

battery pack compartment.

3. Now proceed as above (Putting into operation with AC adapter, Points 2 to 4, Receiver).
4. The battery status lamp lights according to the voltage of the batteries or battery packs.

Possible display:

GREEN

RED

When the red lamp lights, functionality is no longer guaranteed.  In this case, the battery packs must be recharged or the batteries

replaced.

3.3.

Charging the battery packs

Receiver

1. Make sure that there are rechargeable battery packs in the battery pack compartment!

2. Connect the power supply lead to the socket

provided on the back of the receiver. Then plug the AC adapter into a mains

socket (230 V

Hz). Charging begins automatically and is safe for your battery packs.

3. The charging time varies according to the type of battery pack

used

and can therefore take 12   14 hours.

4. When charging is completed, you should disconnect the appliance from the mains  power supply.

Please note that your battery packs do not reach full capacity

they have been charged three times.

3.4. Range

In view of the physical diffusion characteristics of radio waves, you should determine the range of your

 in your

surroundings. To do so, you can, for example, place a radio in front of the

transmitter. When you can hear the transmission,

take the receiver to the area where you require perfect functionality. In optimal conditions the range should be up to 300 metres.

However, please bear in mind that any solid structure (walls, ceilings, etc.) may reduce the range.

3.5.

Channel selection

With your BM 50 P

the signal can be transmitted by two channels (“A” or

If the sound reception is bad, try the other

channel: switch both the channel selection switch (A3) on the transmitter and the channel selection switch

 on the receiver to

the other channel. Make sure that the channel selection switches on the transmitter and receiver are both in the same position.
Only then can transmission take place.

3.6.

Sensitivity

 Volume

You can set the response sensitivity of the transmitter and the volume of the receiver of your BM 50 P

 turn the

sensitivity control (A2) on the transmitter to the required microphone response sensitivity. The higher the sensitivity is set, the
sooner the transmitter starts to transmit when your baby makes a sound. You can also regulate the volume of the signals received

using the volume control (B2) according to your surroundings.

4.

Trouble-shootinq:

Problem:
No function
No transmission

Solution:

Check the power supply (battery pack/AC adapter) of the transmitter and receiver.

1. Reduce the distance between the transmitter and the baby, maintaining the minimum

distance of 1 metre.

Interference/poor transmission:

Whistling noise (feedback):

2. Reduce the distance between the transmitter and the receiver.
3. Check the setting of the channel selector switch (both on “A” or

 Select a different transmission/reception channel.

2. Reduce the distance between the

 and the receiver.

3. Check the batteries/battery packs and replace if necessary.

Increase the distance between the transmitter and the receiver.

2. Reduce the volume on the receiver.
