IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, safety precautions should be followed, including the
following:

Read all instruction carefully, even if you are familiar with appliance.
ii)
To protect against the risk of electric shock DO NOT IMMERSE the appliance, cord set or the plug
in water or any liquid.
iii)
To clean, wipe exterior with a damp cloth.
iv)
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is operated near children. The appliance must
not be used by children.
v)
The appliance must always be unplugged when not is use and before cleaning or maintenance.
vi)
Do not operate any appliance with damaged cord or plug, or if appliance malfunctions or is
damaged in any manner.
vii)
Handle sharp blender blades carefully to avoid cuts and injuries.
viii)
This appliance is designed for indoor use only.
ix)
Do not allow cord to hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surface.
x)
Do not place unit on or near a gas or electirc burner or a heated oven.
xi)
Do not use appliance for mixing paints or other flammable liquids or in a loction contaminated with
flammable gases or vapours.
xii)
Do not leave the appliance unattended. Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
xiii)
Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pad on appliance.
xiv)
Ensure switch off the unit after each use. Make sure the motor stops completely before
disassmebled.
xv)
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a harzard.
xvi)
This appliance is not intended for use by persons ( including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
xvii)
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with appliance.
xviii)
Ensure that the blender is switch off before removing it from the stand.
xix)
Switch off the appliance and disconnet from supply before changing accessories or approaching
parts that move in use.
xx)
Care is needed when handling cutting blades, especially when removing the blade from the bowl,
emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
