9. Take the top tether strap
(R)
and pressing the adjuster extend the strap
until it is long enough to reach your vehicle’s top tether anchor point.
10. To tighten the Top Tether, take up any slack by pulling the free end of
the belt through the Top Tether adjuster (fig. 4.6). The Top Tether will be
correctly tightened when the red tension indicator shows in green (fig. 4.7).
11. Check the seat is correctly locked and ready to install the child.
• Uninstalling the ISOFIX system
1. To free the ISOFIX anchoring, pull the unlock buttons,
(P)
in order to free
the seat from the vehicle ISOFIX anchoring system (fig. 4.8).
IMPORTANT! Make sure not to use the luggage clip instead of the
Top Tether anchor clip. Look for this symbol in your vehicle:

2. Make sure the ISOFIX arms

are displayed to install the car seat.
3. Place the seat in the back seat of the vehicle.
4. Hold the safety seat with both hands and hook the two ISOFIX
arms

firmly into the vehicle seat ISOFIX connectors until they fasten with a click
on both sides. The red button will partially change to green on both sides
(fig. 5.2).
5. Shake the seat to check that it is correctly anchored to the vehicle’s ISOFIX
points.
6. Take the top tether strap

7. To tighten the Top Tether, take up any slack by pulling the free end of

• Uninstalling ISOFIX
system
1. To free the ISOFIX anchoring, press the unlock buttons

NOTICE
1. Make sure the 5-point harness and harness buckle have been correctly
removed (see points 3.4).
2. Follow the steps described in section 3.9.
3. Place the seat in the 1 or 2 position , ensuring that the safety device of the
backrest

is anchored to the safety device of the base

(fig. 6.1).
4. Make sure the ISOFIX arms
(Q)
are displayed to install the car seat.
5. Place the safety seat on the vehicle seat.
6. Hold the safety seat with both hands and hook the two ISOFIX
arms

firmly into the vehicle seat ISOFIX connectors until they fasten with a click
on both sides. The red button will partially change to green on both sides
(fig. 6.2).
7. Shake the seat to check that it is correctly anchored to the vehicle’s ISOFIX
points.
8. Place the child in the seat. Pull the vehicle safety belt and pass it in front of
the child until it reaches the vehicle seat belt buckle.
IMPORTANT! Make sure the belt is not twisted.
9. Insert the clasp into the vehicle seat buckle. You should hear a click.
10. Place the diagonal part of the belt and the part that crosses the lap on the
side of the vehicle safety seat buckle, through the abdominal belt guide
(J)
of the safety seat (fig. 6.3 B).
11. Pass the diagonal part of the belt through the diagonal belt guide
(B)
on the
headrest until it is fully extended and not twisted (fig. 6.3 A).
12. Make sure the diagonal part of the belt passes over the child’s collar bone
and not the neck.
IMPORTANT! The part of the abdominal belt should rest as low as possible over
the child’s hips, on both sides.
