Maintenance

B.PRO recommends you have the unit maintained on a regular basis by suitably trained pro-
fessionals. Regular maintenance prevents failure of the unit, extends its operating life and con-
tributes to general value retention.
Have unit maintained by suitably trained professionals regularly.

Live components.
Live components may cause an electric shock if touched during maintenance work or when re-
placing parts on the connected unit.
Switch off unit with the On/Off switch.
Pull out the mains plug to disconnect the unit from the power supply.
Insert it into the mains plug retainer.

The castor brakes must be checked to ensure that they are effective every time the unit is mo-
ved to a new location.
Lock castor brakes.
Try to move the unit (do not use force!).
If brakes do not lock effectively, have the defective castor(s) replaced immediately by one of
the service points listed under Repairs.
Have a professional electrician perform a periodical electrical safety inspection as per the
DIN VDE 0701-0702 series of standards at least once every six months.
Check the connection cable and mains plug for mechanical damage and signs of excessive
deterioration at least once every six months in accordance with DGUV Regulation 3 (formerly
BGV A3) or equivalent national regulations.
