c) Disconnect the plug from the power source
and/or the battery pack from the power tool
before making any adjustments, changing
accessories, or storing power tools. Such
preventive safety measures reduce the risk of
starting the power tool accidentally.
d) Store idle power tools out of the reach of
children and do not allow persons unfamiliar
with the power tool or these instructions to
operate the power tool. Power tools are dan-
gerous in the hands of untrained users.
e) Maintain power tools. Check for misalign-
ment or binding of moving parts, breakage of
parts and any other condition that may affect
the power tool’s operation. If damaged, have
the power tool repaired before use. Many
accidents are caused by poorly maintained
power tools.
f ) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly
maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting
edges are less likely to bind and are easier to
control.
g) Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits
etc. in accordance with these instructions,
taking into account the working conditions
and the work to be performed. Use of the
power tool for operations different from
those intended could result in a hazardous
situation.
5) Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualified
repair person using only identical replace-
ment parts. This will ensure that the safety of
the power tool is maintained.
b) For power tools with type X attachment,
where a specially preparde cord is needed
to replace the cord: if the supply cord of this
power tool is damaged, it must be replaced
by a specially preparded cord available
through a qualified service facilty.
SPECIAL TOOLS SAFETY
WARNINGS
The pump is only to be used for the purpose of
pumping air and under no circomstances to be
used with any other gases.. The pump must not
be used for the pumping of fluids, particles, solids
or any other substance.
Do not pump flammable or explo-
sive gases or operate the unit in an
atmosphere contaning them.
•
The pump is designed for air only. Water
vapour and other contaminants will be fil-
tered out by means of a water-separator.
•
Ambient air should not exceed 40° C.
FOR YOUR SAFETY
•
Avoid any constrictions in the suction hose,
e.g. due to dirt accumulation, squeezing,
bending or stretching.
•
Check the suction hose each time before use.
Renew any leaking or damaged parts.
•
Keep the cooling air vents on the pump free
and clean.
•
The underlying surface of the drill stand must
be clean, firm, smooth, dry and without any
holes. For further safety regulations, see the
operating instructions for the drill stand.
•
Caution: The machine becomes hot after a
long period of use.
•
Always
connect the core drill and the vac-
uum pump to the same power outlet.
•
Do not carry out any changes or modifica-
tions to the machine.
•
Should the machine have an operational
fault, the vacuum function will remain for a
short time. The cohesion is dependent upon
the underlying surface and seal retention.
Stop working immediately and remove the
drill stand completely.
Use only original B+BTec parts and acces-
sories.
