POWER
The SMX-100 must be powered by Phantom-
Power. To power the unit, connect an XLR cable to
the microphone from a voltage source that supplies
between 11 and 52VDC. (see wiring diagram below)
MIC Output:
The SMX-100 has a balanced 5-pin XLR
connector.
SHOCK-MOUNT HOLDER
The SMX-100 is supplied with a cameramountable
mic holder. Snap the near portion of the
microphone into the holder. To secure the holder,
slide the holder into the camera shoe and tighten the
thumbwheel by turning it clockwise.
