3.4. Powering on for the fi rst time
Now that you have your digital receiver connected, you should plug it into a mains socket and turn on
the Power Switch at the backside.
The front panel indicator will be lit blue.
- AZBox Me give you the possibility of multiboot, that permit you to have 2 OS installed at the same time,
which you can choose when you are booting.
When you turn on the AZBox Me, you will fi nd useful menus on-screen that will give you access to many
options and functions. The RCU will be your best friend helping you navigate through the features and
selections. Please be aware that each software has its particular way of working and may change some
features and attribute different functions to RCU buttons.

To fi nd the serial number for your AZBox, look on the back for a label that is similar to the example
shown here.
The serial number begins with “TD“.
If your set-top requires troubleshooting in the future, your cable service provider may ask for this serial
number.
