Maintenance

Model SLX 110/120 - Smart displacement type level transmitter 3-5

Torque arm

• Remove deposit on contacts of knife-edge, bonnet stopper or pin if any.

Bonnet

• Remove deposit from bonnet stopper, if any.

Torque tube housing assembly

• Remove deposit from knife-edge or torque plate, if any,
• To clean inside of torque tube housing, inject steam or pour in appropriate

detergent through a gap between torque tube housing and torque tube.

WARNING

Steam, detergent or deposit, which has been injected into inside of torque tube

housing will flow out through the gap between torque tube housing and torque tube

because the interior of the torque tube housing is sealed. In addition to extreme

caution to be exercised during cleaning work, do not point inlet/outlet of steam or

detergent to any person.

Reassembly, reinstallation

• Install and assemble in the reverse order of disassembly. Refer to Figure 3-4 and

Figure 3-5.
