Operating Instructions
• Make sure that you have read all the safety instructions before operating the machine.
• Check that the blade fitted is the correct one for the job in hand; if not, change it and follow the tracking and
tensioning instructions elsewhere in the manual.
• Set the top blade support to approximately 1/2" (13mm) above the work.
• Check that there are no nails or other foreign bodies in the timber.
• Make sure that the blade is not in contact with the wood when the machine is switched on.
• Do not force the timber through the blade; if excessive force is required this is probably a sign that the blade is
blunt and needs replacing.
• Keep hands well away from the blade; use push sticks when working with smaller pieces.
• Release the tension from the blade when the machine is out of use for some time; this will prevent flats forming
on the tyres.
