file using any text editor. In the Windows 95/98 and
Windows NT environments, you can for example use Notepad. Once
the editing is complete, save the file as
config
.

Windows 95 has a directory called
config
that contains important
system files. It is therefore important to change to another directory
using the
cd
command before modifying your StorPoint NAS
configuration file from within the Windows 95 environment.
Failure to do this may result in some of your system files to be
overwritten.
