Wiring Harness Installation Instructions
Ignition Sense Installation
(90 min shutoff timer once truck is turned off)
Step 1:
Guide the end of the wiring harness with 3 wires to the fuse panel. The ground (Black)
wire should be fastened to the metal body with a self-tapping screw or connect to an existing
screw/bolt that is grounded. It is best to install the ground where daily activity in the vehicle
won’t hit it.
Step 2:
Locate 12 Volt ignition fuse in the panel and connect the White wire using the copper
fuse tap provided.
Step 3:
Locate a constant hot 12-volt fuse, and using a fuse tap, connect the Red wire to
complete installation.
Wire Hot Installation
(Constant power to GPS unit, even after truck is turned off)
Step 1:
Complete ignition sense installation Step 1. (Found Above)
Step 2:
Twist White and Red wire tips together, ensuring they will not separate from one
another during installation. Locate a hot 12-volt fuse and using a fuse tap connect the twisted
Red and White wires.
